Foster

Rainbow Friends Animal Sanctuary is always in need of additional foster homes. The more foster families we have, the more lives we can save. Until our entire island community embraces the “Animals Alive not Euthanized” concept, we desperately need people who will offer their homes as temporary residences until a permanent home can be found. Join our foster program and become the difference between life and death for an animal until a permanent home or Sanctuary kennel space is available.

The length of time you have a dog or cat can vary from 1 – 2 days to several months, it’s up to you!

Sometimes we receive animals that are too young, sick or injured to be at the Rainbow Friends Animal Sanctuary. For those animals with special needs we are looking for foster families who will take care of them for as long as it is needed. It requires a dedication to provide for the animal and give him/her love and affection, as well.
