Happy Endings (4): Everything Turned “Pono” For Pono
Feb 28th
More than 2 years ago somebody dumped Pono on the highway. He was suffering from mange pretty badly but was lucky enough to be brought to Rainbow Friends. Here he was nurtured and given love and care until Bridget came by and fell in love with him right away. So she took him home as a Christmas present to herself. He is now living a wonderful life with his two buddies in Waikoloa where he has his own bed and blanket for the cooler nights. He is as sweet as can be, loves just everybody and brings joy to Bridget More >

Happy Endings (3): Moose Moves To Mountain View
Feb 26th
Moose, a young, male Bullterrier-Labrador mix, has found a new home in Mountain View. Initially, his new owner, Jasen, came to Rainbow Friends for volunteer work, not to get a new buddy. But when he saw Moose, he fell in love immediately and decided to take him home.
Happy Endings (2): Christmas With Lily
Feb 25th
Lily was about 1 1/2 years old when she was adopted by Hanna at Christmas 2009. Prior to this Hanna had convinced her landlord to allow her to adopt a dog. Otherwise she would have moved to a place where dogs are allowed. That’s what we call a true animal lover! Now both of them enjoy their life together and even come by Rainbow Friends to visit and volunteer. And while Hanna is walking other dogs Lily says “Hi” to all her old friends. Thank you, Hanna, for caring.
