Feb 2012: Pita and Buddah
Feb 1st
We are brothers and best friends. We love playing together and with other dogs. We are full of energy and just love, love, love to play. We do great together and on our own, so we can be adopted separately. If you have a nice fenced yard for us to play in that would be awesome. We would be so happy and we are sure that we would make you happy too.
spay/neuter clinic for cats – this Sunday!!!
Jan 25th
A spay/neuter clinic for cats will be held in Leilani Estates this Sunday (February 5th 2012).
Please bring your cat along to this low cost clinic. Lets help reduce the number on unwanted kittens in the island.
Due to a grant from the Petco Foundation we are able to offer free spay/neuter of feral cats. Stray cats and domestic cats will cost just $45.
Feral cat colony caretakers, do you need help fixing the feral cats you take care of? Don’t miss this opportunity to have them spayed/neutered.
Please call 982-5110 to register.
spay/neuter clinic for dogs
Jan 23rd
Another successful clinic was held on Sunday January 22nd 2012, with 21 dogs being spayed or neutered.
Thanks to all the responsible pet owners helping to reduce the number of unwanted animals on this island.
A big thank you to Dr Hatt and all the volunteers who worked so hard on a very busy day.
new cattery
Jan 6th
We are pleased to announce that the Ti Room cattery has now been built, and is being occupied, thanks to a very generous donation by Udel Smith, which covered the cost of all the materials required. Thanks also to Larry Gallagher, Dale Crabtree, Marcia Krijgsman, Willem Wiessner and all the other volunteers who worked so hard on the construction.
26 cats were moved from their old premises in early December and they seem very happy. This new cattery allows more sunlight than their previous accommodation, and there are plans to attach an outside garden area for them at a later date.

We are back!
Jan 4th
Aloha everyone!
We are so sorry that, due to technical difficulties, we have been unable to update the website for some time. However this has finally been resolved and we are back up and running.
So what have we been doing in the meantime?
The 5th Annual Howling Holidays was held in Paradise Park on Sunday December 15th. This was a fun day out for dogs and their owners, and we would like to thank everyone who braved the torrential rain and made it such a successful event.
We have also held more spay/neuter clinics. Again, thank you to everyone for being responsible owners More >
