Neuterscooter Is Coming To Town!

Annie, out featured pet of the month for March 2010, went to a new home to Honoka’a. Her new owner loves her and she became an inside dog with her own blanket and pillow.

Kimo, a Miniature Pinscher mix, was adopted by Anna a few weeks ago. He is doing really well with his new family, and they love him very much in return. Although he chases the chickens, but only for fun… Thank you Anna for taking such good care of little Kimo.

Prince, a Heeler mix, who was at one time dumped in the neighborhood, moves out from the Sanctuary but will stay in Kurtistown with Jamie Neill and her daughter. He will share his new home with two horses, sheep, chickens and one Chihuahua. Prince, watch out for this little Mexican energy bundle!

Hi! I am Phoebe and I am terribly busy all day, going in and out as I please, and finding plenty of fun things to do around the Sanctuary. I am always ready for someone to stop and spend some time petting and telling me how wonderful I am. I get along with other cats and “tolerate” dogs, after all, being a cat you have to just tolerate them, don’t you? I would love to have my own family or person to spoil me on a daily basis, is that you?

Pepsi, the little Terrier mix, got adopted and will move to Soldotna, Alaska, in May when the weather over there is getting better. Pepsi is prepared with a warm coat for the cold winters in Alaska.

Chloe, the sweet black and white pitbull mix, got adopted by Tiana Picadura and her husband and daughter. She will have a fenced-in yard which is connected to the fenced-in yard of Tiana’s mother, that means she has double the area and double the attention. Chloe will be a happy indoor/outdoor dog and she deserves the best!

Mary Ann and Larry French from Pahoa took Mitzi and Makena home. These two beautiful white cats will be mostly indoor cats. Makena is deaf and is especially happy about her new beginning. Thank you Mary Ann and Larry!

Montie’s Surgery Successful

For those of you who were following Montie’s story: Montie had his surgeries and has recovered remarkably. He uses his injured leg. The response to Montie’s story was overwhelming and allowed us to care for all of Montie’s needs. Thank you all for your generous donations and support!
